Website privacy
What this policy covers.
Effective April 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes information collected through the Maplewood Mental Health Clinic website. It does not replace the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices that governs protected health information created or received as part of clinical care.
If you call, email, or submit an online form, the clinic may receive your name, contact information, insurance information you choose to provide, and a short description of what you are seeking help for. Do not use website forms for emergencies or highly sensitive details that should wait for a private clinical conversation.
Once information is received and used to arrange or provide care, it may become part of the clinic's clinical or administrative records and may be handled under HIPAA and other applicable privacy rules.
Analytics and vendors
Basic site operations.
The website may use hosting, analytics, speed-monitoring, email, form, phone, and scheduling vendors to operate the site and respond to inquiries. These tools may collect technical information such as browser type, device type, page views, referral source, approximate location, and performance data.
Website data is used to respond to requests, maintain the site, understand which pages are useful, and improve access to care. The clinic does not sell website inquiry information. The clinic may share information with service providers that help operate the website or respond to inquiries, but those vendors are expected to use the information only for the services they provide to the clinic.
Communication limits
Email and forms are not emergency channels.
Email, voicemail, text messages, and website forms can be useful for scheduling and administrative questions, but they may not be reviewed immediately and should not be used for emergencies, medication crises, or urgent clinical instructions.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are struggling or in psychiatric crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
